Itās been ten years since our first rescue, in December 2012.
In the picture below, you can see us both with Felix in the carrier, after he was rescued, nursed back to health and saved from abandonment.
Our story of cat rescue and compassion for homeless animals had just begun.
The following ten years were as incredibly hard as unforgettable. Ten years full of struggle and sacrifices but also full of love, compassion and gratefulness.
There were many times when we thought we couldnāt carry on, especially when the world took a turn for the worse, making our labour of love and compassion even harder than it already was.
Imagine not having a day off in ten years!
Having to give up our personal lives to be able help all these innocent souls who had no place to go, took a toll on our health. But then, in our darkest hours, every time we thought we couldnāt take it anymore, when we had lost our physical and mental strength as we were running out of financial means, you came to the rescue and your support gave us the strength to carry on.
To us, all our supporters are heaven-sent! Without your love and support, we wouldnāt have made it this far, so today, we want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts, for always being there for us when we need you the most.
