Cheeky, our sweet feral kitten

Over the last ten years, we have never stopped feeding and caring for cats outside the Sanctuary; in fact, we have feeding stations set up for them all over and refill them regularly.

But, every now and then we see new hungry babies come out of unexpected places. Last week, Paul found this tiny feral kitten on a jogging path nearby; he was meowing at the top of his lungs asking for food.

Paul immediately went to get some kibble and fresh water to make a new feeding station for him**.

The kitten kept his distance while Paul prepared everything for him but as soon as Paul walked away, he could be seen eating voraciously…

A bit later another very scared kitten timidly came out to get some food too!

The morning after, we went back to check on them, bring some wet food and arrange a few things.

Most of the dry food was gone so we believe there are more of them hiding out there.

We have named this little one Cheeky 😊 he and his sibling are now under our protection and care ❤

We’ll keep you updated 🙂

UPDATE

Last week, our little Cheeky came out of nowhere and we’ve been taking good care of him** ever since.

Paul set up a nice feeding station for Cheeky with kibble and fresh water that gets refilled daily!

Every other day, we also treat our little feral kitten with some cat milk and delicious wet food which he absolutely loves!

**UPDATE: A couple of month later we realized Cheeky was actually a female kitten!

If you want to help feed other feral kitties like Cheeky, join our ‘Feed a Feral’ Program for only $5 a month.

Watch Jackie taking good care of Cheeky…
