After months of feeding Bono and taking care of him, trying to gain his trust to be able to rescue him, we’ve now made some progress and the time has come to go for it and hopefully be successful.
Bono was abandoned about 6 months ago; he’s so traumatized by abandonment he’s become extremely fearful and avoids any kind of contact with humans; that’s why we have not been able to rescue him yet.
No matter how well we feed him, Bono’s health is rapidly deteriorating and becoming very vulnerable due to hardships of street life. He has a stiff hind leg and an injured front leg that makes him limp; a wounded ear that looks wrenched and other wounds around the head. On top of all that, he suffers from strabismus and, since we’ve been able to get closer, we’ve noticed that he also breathes with difficulty.
Bono needs to be taken off the streets urgently and get inmediate care but we must finish paying off overdue vetbills before we can take on this new difficult rescue that will require special vet care.
It’s time for Bono’s nightmare to be over. One final push to save another precious life is all we’re asking for. Care to help?
