Vito going for dental surgery

After Vito’s follow-up visit and seeing very little improvement, the vet has decided that our sweet 14-year-old boy needs to have the only two premolars he has left extracted to finally relieve his pain. He’s already on pre-op antibiotics and is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow (09.03.2026) at noon.

Although Vito is in good shape for his age, our biggest concern is that he will have to undergo surgery and general anaesthesia. After everything we’ve been through recently, this is another worry we could have done without.

Please keep our precious Vito in your thoughts and pray for a smooth procedure and a speedy recovery.

We are so relieved to share that Vito’s dental surgery went well, and our brave boy is already back home!

Starting tonight, Vito will begin a 10-day course of treatmet at home as he recovers.

After all the worry and anxiety leading up to today, we cannot put into words how relieved we are that everything went smoothly.

Now it’s time for our sweet senior boy to rest, recover, and hopefully enjoy a pain-free mouth once and for all!
