Vito – Rescue feral kitten adopted at a local shelter.

Although we didn’t rescue him ourselves, Vito was the one who actually got the ball rolling. We had started feeding some stray cats and wanted to help homeless cats  but we didn’t know where to start. Then, we contacted some local cat rescuers who had just rescued a few feral kittens at a farm and were in need of a furever home.
Vito was just a few weeks old when he was rescued along with his mom and sister. His mom was adopted, while he and his sister were being fostered until they could eat on their own.

We officially adopted Vito in May 2012 at a local shelter when he was only 8 weeks old and he was introduced to our senior resident cat Tom who had been rescued many years ago! in 2001, at only 6 weeks old.
