A very special Christmas

Dear supporters,

Here we are again, celebrating one more Christmas together! Today, December 21st, we are also celebrating our 11th anniversary, over a decade since we started this crusade!

2023 has been by far the most difficult year for us. As you all know, we’ve been struggling to survive having to take each day at a time and on top of all the uncertainty we also had to endure the pain of losing someone dear which after ten years of continued losses is getting harder and harder to bear.

However, this year we’ve also been pleasantly surprised with the joy of saving lives again!  Cheeky and Frankie, the two little orphaned kittens we found abandoned on a jogging path and whom we started to care for last summer, were finally rescued on November 1st. And now, just a few days before Christmas, Cheeky and Frankie have been successfully introduced to the rest of the rescues at the Sanctuary and they’re starting to happily settle in.

This new rescue was totally unexpected as we were forced to stop our rescue operation years ago due to our precarious situation.

Nevertheless, life, fate, the universe, or God, however you want to call it, for better or for worse, had other plans for us so in the end and despite all the hardships we are facing, here we are today celebrating life again, the lives of two little babies that were saved from certain death.

Today, we want to THANK YOU once again for being there for us through thick and thin, and in doing so helping us survive for one more year!

Thanks to your invaluable support Cheeky and Frankie can now sleep safe and sound.

Our Christmas gift for you this year is this short video in which you can see how incredibly happy Cheeky and Frankie are now, after all the suffering they’ve been through since they were abandoned at only 6 weeks old.

On behalf of Jackie and everyone at the Sanctuary, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2024.

Warmest regards,

Paul

Thanks for the Christmas card and the video. Brought happy tears knowing these two are in the best care they could have. Hope 2024 is a magical year because you are both deserving…
